NHN Islamabad Chapter election results
1st chapter election of the session was heldB on 13 November 2019 at Islamabad. NHN ICT, election were conducted at Sungi office (Regional Secretariat NHN) at 11.00am. Following members of ICT chapter members participated in the election:
- HANDS
- DOABA Foundation
- SPO
- SUNGI
- Help In Need
- Bedari
- CRI
Election Committee member b Mr. Fareed Ullah facilitated the elections. B Election Committee received the nomination from following member organizations:
- HANDS
- SPO
- SUNGI
- DOABA Foundation
Following steps were carried out.
Election committee representative requested chapter members to follow retention of 01 CEC member from previous group as per the criteria but the members of ICT Chapter decided to go for new elections as a whole. The chapter members mutually agreed that all the existing members shall be considered as REC. (Keeping in view the numbers of membership)
FourB contestants were running for CEC positions of the chapter. During elections DOABA Foundation withdraw to contest therefore only 3 organizations were left to contest. Hence, all the three organizations (Sungi, SPO and HANDS) were elected as CEC members from Islamabad Chapter, unopposed. All members mutually agreed that Sungi shall continue as Chapter Secretariat.
