Constitution of core committee for COVID-19 response in KP

Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has constituted a core committee compromising of all relevant stakeholders in the province. The main objective of the committee is to have concerted efforts/response to curtail the epidemic of COVID-19 and its after effects, and to avoid duplication by coordinating all support/activities through PDMA. The PDMA has requested all the organizations not to work in isolation and all operations and support should be routed through PDMA in terms of sharing the information initially on the nature and areas of response. Subsequently the response should also be carried out after consultation with PDMA.
